BAS offers its customers the following airport handling services:
Document preparation for goods in export
Drafting and presentation of the pre-manifest and of the on-board goods poster, control of the conformity of the customs authorizations with the LTAs.
Document preparation of imported goods
resentation of the on-board goods poster and related LTA, control of documentation compliance and intervention on possible discrepancies (Tracing).
Assistance for arriving and departing aircraft (Ramp)
Assistance of the aircraft during the stop on the track, control and coordination of the loading and unloading of goods, in consideration of the corresponding on-board plan.
Specific handling for goods requiring special assistance (live animals, perishable animals, human remains, values and dangerous goods).
Management of possible tracing, with relative messaging and checks necessary for discrepancies found on incoming or outgoing shipments.
Delivery of documentation for incoming goods
Examination of the conformity of the documentation, notice and delivery to the various recipients or airport operators delegated and collection of the relevant landing / cash fees in cash or in cass procedure.
Delivery on-board magazines and newspapers
Withdrawal or receipt from the newspapers, sorting, packing, storage at the BAS warehouses and delivery on board the aircraft.
Security of goods control
BAS, certified as a regulated agent, as required by the new “card 3” regulation of the national security program, performs goods control services also with the aid of RX instrumentation.
LTA issue
LTA editing in the name and on behalf of the assisted Airlines for the exportation of the goods.
Check-in desk support for hand luggage weight control
Verification and limitation service on hand baggage.
